Coach Joe McFarland officially came on staff with FCA March 1, 2016, but he has been involved with FCA for many years.  He served as Division 1 College Baseball Coach for 38 years. He is also the the author of Coaching Pitchers with 40,000+ copies selling worldwide. He has been a speaker at national and international baseball conventions. Coach McFarland has received Coach of the Year awards at the region, state, and conference levels and has sent 30+ players to the major leagues. He spent those years mentoring coaches and players to learn and respect the game of baseball.  He says, "partnering with FCA allows me to continue teaching the game as a "servant leader" going much deeper into the Gospel of Jesus Christ by disciplining coaches and players. Even before coming on staff, he has been leading a Coaches Bible Study at Camden Co. High School, serving as a community coach with the Camden Middle, St. Marys Middle and Camden High school baseball teams, and hosting baseball clinics. We are excited to have Coach McFarland on the FCA Team!  You can contact him at or to support Coach McFarland.
